Summer Camp Day #4

Today was the most bittersweet day of the entire week.  We're all wanting to see our families, but so upset to be leaving behind all our new friends at Camp Dry Gulch!

We had a full day at Dry Gulch with the boys and girls both spending time at the lake, riding go-carts, and the girls finally got their chance to ride horses.

Chapel tonight had the Big Answer of "I will live for Jesus RIGHT NOW."  The kids were challenged to live a life that will honor Christ, and make a choice everyday to follow Jesus!  Our entire week has been fantastic, and I'm so grateful that you've allowed me and the other sponsors such a great opportunity to be with your kids.

I'd like to make a special thanks to Tiffany Kenton, Emily Hart, and Kenn Ruckey (our official photographer) for all their hard work with Starr and I this week.  If you've found the pictures to be a fun part of your evening, then please take some time to leave us a comment!

I second Jonathan's "thanks" to Tiffany, Emily, and Kenn! The Trinity kids are blessed to have adults working with them that love them and always have their best in mind. Thanks you guys!

Thanks to all the staff at Dry Gulch and especially the Trinity staff for all the pictures taken and comments and updates. Everyone looked like they were having fun. This camp was the first camp for my child and I thought she was going to be home sick, sad and ready to come home. But by the looks of her in those pictures I know she was having fun and was in good hands. If she was I could not tell by the big smile on her face in every picture she was in. I think I'm the one that was missing her more and very ready for her homecoming. Again THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU All!

Thanks for the daily updates of our kiddos. I agree with Ana W. I think I am more ready for my daughter to come home then she will be. I loved looking at the pictures that were taken during the day. It is the first thing I did every morning before I head out the door to work. It is hard to let you child go away with out you, but when you have something to look at every day and know that they are fine it makes it a little bit easier. I can't wait to hear all of the stories about camp. Thank you for everything!!!

Thank you all so much. Kenn, you did a fabulous job. I think you got some really great shots of everyone. Jonathan, thank you so much for taking the time to post everynight. I know it is frustrating to fight a slow system. I really appreciate all of the time you put into it. Starr and Emily, thank you both for taking such good care of our kids this week. I think you will all have another jewel in your crown after this week.
    Thanks everyone...see you tonight.

You all did such a good job and I'm sure the kids had a great time. Looking back to day one they were all "lovely children" and on day 4 - don't know: is it "fish"(being in the water so much),is it "birds"(flying in the air),or is it monkeys(climbing on bars)no!!! it's our next generation!!! God is so Good!!!
