| Barry Moore Joined Trinity Staff: June, 2008 Areas of Ministry: Became a Deacon at Trinity in 1984 and an Elder originally in 1992. Subsequently moved to Vancouver, WA. Returned to Trinity in 1998 and became an elder once again in 2001. Served as Vice Chairman of the Elder Board for six years. Came on staff at Trinity as Executive Pastor of Administration. My portfolio includes Facilities, Information Technology, Special Events, and Communications. I am also very involved in four important initiatives, our Marketing Plan, our Strategic Plan, the development of our Master Facilities Plans for the Church and School, and the initiation of a Capital Campaign in the near future. I have an amazing staff in all areas of my ministry. Family: I have been married to Becky for 34 years. I also have three children, Erin is a flight attendant for Delta Airlines; Emily is a part of Masters Commission discipleship ministry, and Nathan is very much involved in Trinity Youth ministry. Saved(when and where): Grew up in the church, but at the age of 22 got saved in a Volkswagen Beetle in Clovis, NM in 1974. Now you know how young I am. Education: Graduated from Eastern New Mexico in 1982 with an Associate of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, graduated Summa Cum Laude. Previous Line(s) of Work: Worked as a Floral Designer; did design shows for other florists in Albuquerque, Denver, Amarillo, and Las Cruces. After returning to school, worked for CHR Solutions, a telecommunications engineering and consulting firm here in Lubbock. Worked there for 26 years. Served as Senior Vice President of Engineering, served on their Board of Directors, and am still a principle share holder. One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: I find the most fascinating the involvement that God has in our lives on a daily basis, guiding us, opening doors for us, building relationships with others, and enabling us to take advantage of so many opportunities. The fascination is most evident when we look back and see how he has orchestrated our lives, brought about divine appointments, and impacted His kingdom through that process. He truly is in control, and He uses us far more than we realize. FAVORITE Food: Green chili and all types of Mexican food. Beverage: Dark roast coffee!
