Bereavement Ministry

Our desire is to comfort those who have lost loved ones just as through Christ we are comforted.

2Cor. 1:4-5

Funerals:
We ask that family members notify us when there is a death. The Congregational Care Pastor will help plan and make arrangements for facilities, audio, and video needs and also coordinate with Funeral Homes and pastors when necessary.

Meals:
A meal for the family will be provided by volunteers who work in teams to prepare and serve the food. Trinity Church Benevolent Ministry provides the meat dishes and the volunteers contribute  the vegetables and desserts. If you would like to serve as volunteer for food or serving the families during these times, please call 792-3363.

Grief Share:
Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. It is lead by a pastor or trained volunteers who understand the grief process and desire to help others. The sessions include a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. Class discussion and encouragement follows.

We currently do not have a Grief Share class in session. Please contact Pastor Verne Rhoads for more information at 792-3363.
