TLC TEACHERS

 

EEOC CLASSIFICATION:  Support

FLSA Status: Part- Time; (15-28hrs/week) Non-Exempt; Hourly

HOURS WORKED: 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday: 5 days a week and volunteer 1 Sunday Service (1 ½ Hrs.)                       

WORKWEEK: Sunday-Saturday

POSITION SUMMARY:  Trinity Learning Center Teachers provide childcare for children in before and after school situations.   * 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Caring for children while parents are at work or away for other reasons.*
  • Organize activities that stimulate children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth.* 
  • Help children explore individual interests, develop talents and independence, build self-esteem, and learn how to get along with others.
  • Basic care and teaching duties: story telling, playing games, counting, etc.*
  • Help develop the Vision, Mission and Values Statement of Trinity Church and Grow in personal discipleship through: Bible study, Life groups, Prayer, Giving of Tithe and Offerings.*
  • Must be a member of Trinity Church.*

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in working with Children is preferred.   High-School Diploma/GED required.  Combination of experience and education may be considered. Strong oral and written communication skills; Certified Childcare Professional or working on Child Development Associate is preferred.  Classes taken in Child development or early childhood education is a plus.  Must be able to anticipate children’s needs, deal with disruptive children, provide fair but firm discipline, be enthusiastic and constantly alert.  Desire to see children come to know and follow Jesus. 


ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO FACILITIES

FLSA Status: Full Time; (33.5hrs/week) Non-Exempt; Hourly

HOURS WORKED: Mon-Thur. (8:30-5:00) Fri: 8:30-Noon

SUPERVISOR: Manager of Facilities

POSITION SUMMARY:  To serve the church by providing comprehensive and broad-based assistance to the Facilities Department.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manage the administrative operation of the Facility Department's office by:*
    • Receiving all incoming work and correspondence, preparing appropriate responses when necessary.
    • Receiving and screening telephone calls, answering questions and providing information whenever possible.
    • Delegating the work to appropriate individuals (inside and outside the office) and supervising the processing of the work inside the office to its satisfactory completion.
    • Maintaining up to date, well organized files.
    • Maintain office equipment, order office supplies.

 

  • Manage the Facility Department's calendar by scheduling appointments, appearances, meetings, and speaking engagements.*
  • Build good public relations with the congregation, media ministry, organizations and the general public.
  • Prepare reports and agendas as requested.  (such as over time reports, work order reports)
  • Procure facilities for meetings both on and off campus including refreshments and meals.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for the Facility Department when needed*
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounting records for the Facility Department, such as expense accounts, purchase orders and check requests.*
  • Manage and coordinate Events U system.  Following up on each event planned to ensure event is occurring and needs are being met. *
  • Primary relief for receptionist.*
  • Attend staff meetings and other meetings as requested/needed.
  • Work with appropriate committees and leaders in carrying out the ministry of the church.
  • Cooperate with others by performing any other duties as assigned.
  • Represent Trinity Church and the Facility Department’s office in a very professional manner through, dress, personality, and lifestyle.*

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 years related work experience.  High-School Diploma/GED required.  Prefer experience with non-profit organizations.  Some college is preferred. Combination of experience and education may be considered.  Ability to plan and manage multiple projects; attention to detail; computer proficient with Word and Excel a must. Bi-lingual a plus. 


TCS CHILD-CARE TEACHERS

FLSA Status: Part- Time; (28hrs/week) Non-Exempt; Hourly

HWC Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: To support the overall administrative functions of  HWC. Maintain positive, relevant, and resourceful relations with the clients and volunteers of Heartline Women’s Clinic.  Grow the volunteers of HWC. *

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Greet Clients, answer phones, schedule appointments and help call-ins with their needs, direct them to the right resource.
  • Prepare and maintain check requests, print requests and purchase orders.
  • Assist in making packet copies and keeping form-packets made up.
  • Maintain client files and assist in effective follow-up of clients.
  • Maintain a list of services requested by clients, weekly and report to clinic manager.
  • Assist Nurse Manager with pregnancy testing and counseling, when needed.
  • Participate in preparation of the newsletter and other promotional or image building activities for the clinic.
  • Coordinate with communications department on maintaining and updating the HWC website.
  • Assist Clinic Manager in coordinating clinic events and fundraisers.
  • Assist with the volunteer Christmas party and appreciation events.
  • Maintain the volunteer schedule and ensure they are set up for appropriate training.
  • Maintain adequate office supplies.
  • Maintain the overall look of the clinic, keeping it fresh and inviting i.e., candy dishes filled, plants watered, pillows fluffed, surfaces cleaned, trash receptacles emptied daily, light bulbs replaced, etc.
  • Help develop the Vision, Mission and Values Statement of Trinity Church and Grow in personal discipleship through: Bible study, Life groups, Prayer, Giving of Tithe and Offerings.*
  • Must be a member of Trinity Church.*

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems efficiently and effectively while maintaining good working relationships. Possess professional phone manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality.  Ability to promote good public relations and communications.
