Child Dedication Experience at Trinity Church
Leading your children to become fully devoted followers of Christ is the most important role you will play as a parent, and because of the weight of this responsibility, Trinity Church wants to partner with you in this.
The Child Dedication Experience at Trinity Church is a process that includes learning about creative parenting, setting goals for your family, determining values to live by and understanding your role in the spiritual development of your child. The final element is the event during a weekend worship experience where a pastor will pray over your family and the church body commits to walk with you in your journey as a parent.
There are 3 steps to dedicate your child at Trinity Church.
First, listen to the brief podcast, "Power of Influence" to learn more about your role as the primary spiritual influence in your child's life. It is important that you listen to this before attending the Child Dedication Class.
Second, register for and attend the Child Dedication Class that will be held Tuesday, May 8th in the Lower Floor from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Attendance at this Child Dedication Class is required by two or more family members for the child being dedicated. Childcare will be provided the night of the class, starting at 6:15pm. Please consider the timeframe of the Child Dedication Class and if alternative childcare arrangements would better suit your family. Sometimes our little ones have a hard time because of the length of class.
Third, attend the Child Dedication Ceremony and Celebration Reception on Sunday morning May 13th. The Celebration Reception will be held immediately following service. Extended family and friends are encouraged to attend and fellowship. A photographer will be there to take pictures of this very special day.
