Child Dedications at Trinity Church
Leading your children to become fully devoted followers of Christ is the most important role you will play as a parent, and because of the weight of this responsibility, Trinity Church wants to partner with you in this.
Child Dedication at Trinity Church is a process that includes learning about creative parenting, setting goals for your family, determining values to live by and understanding your role in the spiritual development of your child. The final element is the event during a weekend worship experience where a pastor will pray over your family and the church body commits to walk with you in your journey as a parent.
There are 3 steps to dedicate your child at Trinity Church.
First, listen to the brief podcast, "Power of Influence" to learn more about your role as the primary spiritual influence in your child's life. It is important that you listen to this before attending the Child Dedication class.
Second, register for and attend the Child Dedication Class that will be held Wednesday, January 26th at 6:30 pm in the Chapel. Attendance at this child Dedication class is required by two or more family members from the child being dedicated.
Third, attend the Child Dedication ceremony on Sunday Morning, January 30th during the 11:30 am service. Child information for the dedication ceremony will be gathered after the attendance of two or more family members at the Child Dedication class.
